In 2017, Gevers asked Think2Make to support its Swiss office in developing its marketing strategy.
Challenge
Working all over the globe, Gevers is active in a conservative field (IP: intellectual property) where marketing is rarely welcome.
Faced with this challenge, Think2Make designed a collaborative approach to define and implement a local marketing strategy that would help Gevers grow with its target audience. The goal: Gevers Switzerland, a European player on a local scale.
How it worked
Step 1: Divergence
This opening phase is about diving into the subject and exploring the first raw ideas. The subject is looked at from different angles. Participants explored three questions:
- Who is the target audience? (personas, customer journey mapping)
- Content vs. container: Gevers’ IP marketing with its 360° services
- Various ideas
Step 2: Emergence
This phase crystallises the solutions and combines those developed earlier. It addresses the central question: how can Gevers be promoted to its target audience?
Step 3: Convergence
This phase combines and analyses the solutions and decides on the first actions to implement. The solutions are evaluated against different criteria (strategy, collaboration, etc.).
Results
A strategic roadmap including all the selected solutions.
