EPSM Le Rôtillon: identifying user needs through a collaborative approach

Project in Lausanne

Challenge

Finding it difficult to meet the needs of a highly marginalised population, EPSM Le Rôtillon raised the issue with the psychiatry and addiction unit of the canton of Vaud (DGCS), which asked EPSM Le Rôtillon to carry out a study to identify the needs of its target group. Keen to limit bias and to contribute as a service provider, Le Rôtillon called on Think2Make, as innovation facilitator, to support it in carrying out this project.

How it is going

Step 1

Together with EPSM Le Rôtillon, Think2Make conducted a series of interviews with the various stakeholders to map the needs of users and staff.

22 October 2020

First day of interviews for the project. In the morning, we went to the management of the community psychiatry service of the CHUV for our first interview.

For this third day of interviews, we started at the Sleep-in.

We then went to the Fondation Mère Sofia, which runs the Soupe Populaire soup kitchen in Lausanne.

12 November 2020

We went to the Fondation de Nant, very close to Chaplin’s World.

26 November 2020

We met the CPNVD in Yverdon and the Graap in Lausanne.

30 November 2020

For this last day of interviews, we met Caritas, and more specifically the social support and integration centre in Lausanne (CASI).

Step 2

Next, based on the data gathered, Think2Make will run a creative workshop to process this data and develop concrete solutions to implement.
